Who's behind Decorella?

Kerry Murphy, a City and Guilds qualified painter and decorator with more than 25 years’ experience. Kerry also has a degree in graphic fine art. She combines both her artistic skills and decorating technical know-how to create a service that is tailored to her clients' tastes.

Kerry is passionate about encouraging more women into construction. Her experience has shown that it is possible to thrive in what has been predominantly a male profession. She believes that women can bring the same (or better) skills and excel at providing the attention to detail required. Whilst at the same time having the empathy with clients and their wishes.

Offering a friendly and professional service from start to finish, you can be assured that you will enjoy the results for years to come. Decorella only uses paints and materials that will stand the test of time.

Attention to detail

Where other painters and decorators maybe interested in just getting the paint or paper on the wall, Kerry cares that your home (or premises) is respected. She is careful to cover floors and furniture, insisting that shoes are removed where appropriate.

If Kerry spots some window frames that need cleaning, uneven plaster work or untidy wires, she cannot help but fix them. She wants you to see the finished room(s) and be wowed. The imperfections are not allowed to detract from the result. Only if you are looking for a first-class service, should you ask for a quote.
